Job Description

Hi there!

You are a Product Manager (m/f/d) with passion for digitalisation and Site Reliability Engineering practices? Great! We should get to know each other. In this role, you will support us in building services and setting up practices to properly manage the service levels.

Your future role

  • Work closely with our SRE team, preparing the user stories and prioritizing the backlog in a logical structure.
  • Engage with and inform internal stakeholders (teams, leadership, partners and customers), e.g. in OKR planning and reviews, risk management assessments, impact framework, and planning sessions.
  • Help shape the SRE team s roadmap together with the key stakeholders (especially platform teams and senior management).
  • Refine and improve service-level objectives and agreements for infrastructure services, in collaboration with other development teams.
  • Partner closely with the compliance team to strengthen the reliability of the company s services and renew quality certifications.
  • Drive large refactorings to improve engineering excellence.
  • Produce product-related documentation (including requirements, specifications, designs, key features, blog posts, or business cases), through collaboration with legal, technical writers, and other experts.
  • Contribute to planning, estimating, requesting and invoicing direct and indirect infrastructure costs for the corresponding funded projects, thereby managing a portfolio of relationships with external suppliers and infrastructure partners.
  • Gather usage insights, participate in the coordination of incident management processes, review on-call-duty schedules, and drive continuous process improvements recommendations.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience in driving Site Reliability Engineering practices
  • Having a proven ability to develop solutions dealing with sensitive personal data (such as protected health information) would be a big plus! Same with experience contributing to compliance topics such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Solid foundations in Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus.
