Job Description:
Provides support to residency/fellowship program(s). Develops and/or maintains record management tools needed for program, and supplies routine and ad-hoc reports as required.
Screens applicants to ensure files are complete, and applicants meet the minimum qualifications.
Set up applicant interviews. Recruits faculty interviewers, organize interview schedule, schedule rooms and arrange for food. Compile faculty ratings from interviews and information on each applicant for faculty Selection Committee meetings. May participate and take minutes.
Corresponds with applicants who match with program. Ensures that all materials needed for credentialing are collected in timely manner.
Serve as liaison between new trainee and various administrative offices within the Client.
Compile information to help residents/fellows to acclimate to the community and institution. Arrange social events.
Prepare rotation schedule once template is established. Track and make schedule changes. Ensure schedule and changes are communicated. Track number of hours trainees are working and take steps to correct potential problems and/or inform director of potential problems.
Other administrative tasks as required.
High school diploma required and minimum of 2 years of college preferred.
Three years of administrative/office experience required, preferably in an academic setting. Additional education may substitute for some experience.
