Job Description
- University degree, advanced degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in communications, external relations, or marketing; in a professional services firm (e.g., leading consulting, investment bank, accounting, or law firm) or in a leading GEM company
- Experience in strategically applying full range of marketing/communications channels, including digital channels (e.g., web, events, traditional media/analyst relations, social media); ability to demonstrate measurable business impact from marketing and communications activities
- Working knowledge of one or more of the energy/materials industries or the ability to come up this learning curve quickly and gain credibility
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to quickly grasp range of complex issues, see a problem from multiple sides, work through the issues in a logical and rigorous way, and find creative-yet-practical solutions with a sustainability lens
- Self-motivation, with an appetite for working in a low-structure environment; high comfort level with uncertainty and creativity
