Job Description
- To provide material selection and corrosion management advice to the client Royal Commission (RC) in materials ensuring cost effective material selection and corrosion mitigation strategies which will ensure (technical) integrity of the materials applied in subsurface and surface hydrocarbon production, processing and transportation systems through their life cycle.Review corrosion aspects of the design and execution of major projects for the JIC from the concept stage through completionExpert/proficient in rectifiers, anodes, insulators and other related equipment to eliminate corrosive behaviourKnowledge of measuring electrical activity in the soil and the pipelines/water tanks/marine exposed structures, using voltmeters, amp meters, resistivity meters and other related equipmentAssists supervisor with planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the monitoring Corrosion Control Program of Jubail
