The ATCS Liaison Watch Supervisor is responsible for the facility operations to include the safe and orderly flow of air traffic within their designated airspace during assigned shift.
- Responsible for guiding and assisting host nation in the overall the safe and orderly flow of air traffic within their designated airspace.
- Maintains situational awareness of the overall flow of air traffic operations at the facility assigned and is responsible for all ATC facility operations and services during their shift.
- Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders.
- Coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information.
- Be familiar with radar or control tower operations and apply the required separation of aircraft.
- Responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield. Along with controlling aircraft the assignee must be able to process flight plans, develop and supervise approach and departure procedures.
