- Ethical hacking and penetration testing
- Vulnerability assessment
- Malware analysis
- Work with other penetration testers and information security analysts
- Web application security
- Social engineering
- Database security
- Reverse engineering
- Network security
- Threat modeling and risk assessment
- Must possess skills to be able to explain and demonstrate the essential functions of the position
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively at all levels within the University in English must possess effective presentation skills
- Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
- Ability to detect and solve problems effectively
- Ability to work effectively even under pressure
- Expert time management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard software applications
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of professionals and constituents
- Ability to work evening and weekends as required
