SITE ENGINEER (ROADS)

The Site Engineer (Roads) will assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project. The Site Engineer will participate in review and approval of all submittals by the contractors and involves in the quality control and quality assurance. Will lead the work inspectors to ensure that all construction activities have been perform as per the contract and specifications.

Under the general supervision, performs routine inspection monitoring tasks to confirm if proper construction supervision is being performed by others.Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Document non-conformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.Inspection activities are usually concentrated in one of the following areas: soils, concrete, mechanical, or electrical.
