Job Summary:
The Media Officer will assist with the Audio & Visual responsibilities under the supervision of the IT, Manager to facilitate A/V production/event needs. As well as assisting to IT, Manager in various assignments related to the function of the Media Services. Additionally, the Officer will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of audio & visual equipment s/system.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Perform the preventive maintenance of A/V equipment using available resources.
- Operational issues of projectors, DVD players, laptops, computers, video cameras, streaming equipment, and sound recording equipment
- Maintain A/V system of Classrooms, Lecture halls, Seminar halls, Main Auditorium, Housing, and Overall premises of all media issues.
- Responsible for speakers, microphones, wireless microphones, mixing boards, amplifiers, internet streaming equipment, and occasionally assistive listening devices.
- Provide services, support personnel, and follow the employees and events.
- Installs classroom technology equipment following college standards.
- Trains instructors, staff, and student workers in the proper use of various types of instructional media equipment and demonstrate the operation of such equipment.
- Printers and Phone Installation./Software and drivers Installation.
- Solving Software / Hardware issues /Email and Internet issues
Requirements
- ActiveRegistration Membership in SCE (Saudi Counsel of Engineers).
- Skills in Media equipment, mixing boards, and many types of video equipment.
- Flexible to perform as many events as possible throughout the year.
- Customer service skills.
- Problem solver
- Ability to write and create related Policies & Procedures.
- Ability to improve the support provided by the Media Services team.
