Job Description
- Participate in the process of establishing standards to ensure that nursing training programs are developed in accordance with the overall direction.
- Evaluate adult learning principles, expected outcomes, and a range of recognized education methods to deliver quality nursing education programsandcalculate risks and benefits of educational innovations.
- Identifyeducational and learning needof Nursingpersonnel by utilizingappropriateassessment tool.
- Collaborate with the Head Nurses and nursing supervisorsin developing and Implementing educational activities that meetidentifiedlearning needs, professional developmentplan and joband/or unit specific competency requirement.
- Assume responsibility forclassroom education deliveriesby utilizing avariety of teaching strategies andensurethat all educational activities are conducted accordingtosetstandards, in line withadult learning process, ina climate conducive forlearners to promote optimal outcomes.
