Job Description
- Perform initial, in-progress, classification and final inspections.
- Utilize Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), DOD CAC access required.
- Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot defects.
- Use technical manuals, bulletins and written directives in the performance of all inspections.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
- Order required repair parts using appropriate military or COTS technical manuals.
- Perform battlefield damage assessment and repair (BDAR).
- Classifies equipment for disposal IAW Army regulations and verify equipment condition codes.
- Perform testing and certification of equipment and material during Load Testing Process.
- Perform PDQR process when receiving improper or damaged repair parts.
- Perform load testing of various equipment IAW applicable technical reference.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Suggests improvements to processes and have the capability of writing or rewriting process improvements as needed.
