To provide supervised direct clinical care for pediatric age patients for the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology.
Liaison with Consultant or Specialist supervising the care of pediatric patients in the service.
Attend and present clinical cases at handover and ward rounds as required.
Request, action and follow-up of care orders on patients.
Liaison with parents, nursing, and allied health practitioners.
Participation in the outpatient clinic as required.
To share in the collective responsibility for the provision of the services for patients within the Pediatric Department and including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and other newborns.
To contribute to the development of excellence in clinical practice within the department through participation in audits and continuing medical education (CME).
Complying consistently with DAEH policies, procedures & practices and ensuring alignment with United Eastern Medical Services (UEMS) corporate policies.
Maintaining confidentiality with regards to any information exchanged or received in the current capacity in accordance with the Confidentiality Agreement and Organizational Policy.
Employee shall follow the Occupational Safety Health Management Systems (OSHMS) Roles and Responsibilities, with Authority and Accountability provided by the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) staff.
Employees shall adhere to and follow infection control guidelines and quality standards as published by the Quality and Risk Management Department.
The employee must understand and adhere to the Emergency Preparedness Plans/Policy.
Participate in mandatory training and workshops as required by the Organization and Regulators.
