DevOps Software Engineer

We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate and creative DevOps Software Engineer to collaborate with the team of 5 developers preferably based in Doha, Qatar.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Automate, streamline, maintain tools/systems to facilitate:
-Continuous software builds
-Continuous testing
-Production-branch management
-Automated deployments
-Software health monitoring
-Software releases
-Prototype new technologies and systems to support team objectives
-Configure and manage tools for continuous integration and delivery, requirement tracing and version control
-Automation work to eliminate the need for manual updates and direct intervention
-Work in a collaborative environment with multiple organizations across time zones

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelors Degree OR Masters Degree in (Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Math, Physics or related field)
-Minimum of 1 year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
-Demonstrated proficiency with software development in Python, or willingness to learn Python
-Proficiency with OS Command-line tools
-Experience developing applications using web technologies such as JavaScript, REST, etc.
-Demonstrated knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, test automation, and/or container/orchestration tools such as Jenkins
-Experience with software development quality methodologies such as design review, code reviews, continuous integration, regression testing and static code analysis
-Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
-Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
