Job Description
- Studs tires in preparation for snow, and also in anticipation of weather change
- Performs experiments on tires to confirm their durability and possible cause of failure
- Recommends tires for use by clients in light of the tires’ durability and fitness for the clients’ specific purpose
- Recommends to clients good driving and tire maintenance practices
- Ensures that minimum standard of safety is maintained in the technician’s office
- Retreads tires which previously have been labeled off the road tires
- Maintains a clean office area that meets minimum environmental requirements’ regulations
- Ensures appropriate dismounting and mounting of tires
- Sells tires to clients.
