Job Description
- Relevant experience of cutting, splitting and transportation of wooden logs
- Thorough knowledge of trade-related tools, materials, chemicals and supplies
- Exceptional knowledge of carpentry work, record preparation and report writing
- Familiarity with operation and servicing of log trucks, trailers and forklifts
- Ability to clean and maintain jobsite, workplace and equipments
- Ability to cut wood into appropriate size and shape as per job specifications
- Loaded, moved and unloaded trucks and trailers with wooden logs.
- Chopped and split selected wood into smaller pieces and stacked those pieces properly.
- Measured cut pieces to verify conformance to job specifications.
- Operatedvarious machines for cutting, moving and splitting wooden logs.
- Prepared and provided accurate records and reports related to assigned work.
- Assisted in controlling and directing traffic near wood-cutting site.
- Cleaned and maintained jobsite, equipments and vehicles, as assigned.
- Maintained and monitored inventory-level of machines and related supplies.
- Participated in grass cutting work and landscaping activities, as required.
