Troubleshoots, tests, and inspects complex electrical systems, moderately complex relay calibration, adjustment and calibration of complex protective relays, and power metering for substations and individual services; uses computers to control, test, and program electrical equipment.
Plans and implements medium voltage electrical primary system switching procedures.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Reads, employs, and updates electrical panel schedules, control drawings, and building schematics.
Advises Facilities Management Electrical Trades Inspector of non-compliance with NFPA or UNM standards.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
