Job Description
- Handle materials and tools
- Fully competent to perform all positions on a minimum of two or more production lines in the facility
- Position will assist in the training and orienting of new employees
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to responsibilities
- Oversee day to day team needs
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements, MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings for tube
- Weld and repair door assemblies and sub-components using the GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) and GMAW - Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) processes to meet customer and internal quality standards
- Assures parts comply to drawing specifications
- Clean weld splatter and metal finish parts as required
- Possess a good working knowledge of all welding procedures and applicable equipment
