Job Description
- Working with other members of the team to ensure that all equipment is in good working order and safe to use
- Monitoring the condition of equipment to ensure that it is safe for use and repairing or replacing parts as necessary
- Maintaining the inventory of parts needed to repair or replace equipment components
- Repairing pumps and other equipment used to move liquids or gases using hand tools and power tools such as saws and drills
- Installing new pumps or replacing old ones as needed
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment such as cleaning tanks and pipes to remove debris that may clog equipment or cause leaks
- Operating cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy machinery or parts around a work site
- Installing and repairing pumps or other equipment that moves liquids or gases through pipelines
- Installing new pumps or replacing old ones as needed
