Using a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines, and an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced, applies analytical ability to define and take appropriate supply action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Plans, conducts, and supervises supply technical inspections.
Use and interprets technical manuals, bulletins and written directives in the performance of all inspections.
Classify parts condition by examining for damage or excessive wear.
Suggests improvements to processes and capable of writing/implementing those processes.
Count, sort incoming material to verify receipts of material.
Examine material to verify quantity or conformance to specifications.
Compile reports on material, equipment, and stock inventory.
Prepares daily CDRL’s and other reports as required by the Performance Work Statement.
Move or transports material or supplies to other departments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck.
