Business Analyst II

Rust Belt Resources is partnering with a public sector client on a Business Analyst II role. The ideal person will have experience in client serving business and requirements analysis and documentation. This is a 24 month contract role available as 1099/C2C. The role is based out of Albany, NY.

Client focused business and requirements analysis:
- Acting as liaison between internal teams (examples:PMO, Business, Technical andOperations teams)and external stakeholders (examples: NYS agencies and Social Service Districts).
- Facilitate meetings and working sessionsWork directly with Subject Matter Experts toconduct requirements gathering
- Analyze requirements gathered
- Identify, document, and validatesystem requirements for continuous integration and deployment
- Prepare proposals for best fit technology based on requirements elicited

The consultant is expected to travel during this engagement.
- Travel may range from 10-25% of the consultants time depending on the consultants work assignments. Travel will occur throughout New York State and may involve several overnight stays depending on the location and the work required; length and mode of travel will vary depending on the work assignment.

Requirements

Required:

- 4-7+years of experience as a Business Analyst

- 4+years of client focused business and requirements analysis experience and documentation including:

- Working on a team of BAs
- Conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions;

- Analyzing requirements gathered;

- Identifying, documenting, and validating system requirements for continuous integration and deployment;

- Preparing proposals for best fit technology based on requirements elicited.

Preferred:

- 4-7+ years of experience identifying, documenting and validating system requirements across multiple agencies, with a focus on the Human Service Child Support domain.

- 4-7+ years of experience identifying, documenting and validating system requirements on a modernization project covering multiple complex functional domains including analyzing, extracting, transforming, and documenting legacy systems; functionality, system logic, and business rules

- 4-7+ years of experience conducting business process analysis and optimization in a technology environment, while documenting the As-Is and proposing To-Be web based, client facing applications.

- 4-7+ years of creating requirements documentation such as: As-Is and To-Be process flows, user stories, requirements, wirefraems and specifications while adhering to pre-established templates within a requiremnts management tool similar to Blueprint.

- 4-7+ years of experience facilitating meetings, workgroups, etc .

Benefits

$70+/Hr.
