Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting preferred, though graduates from other disciplines can also be considered
- Professional qualification – MBA in Finance and/or Strategy
Experience Expected:
- Between 3 and 4 years of experience in a client-facing strategy consulting role
- Creative thinking and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to structure market research and quantitative and qualitative analyses to derive meaningful insights
- Excellent understanding of business models and business drivers and a strong grasp of economics and corporate finance
- Ability to develop custom financial models in MS Excel and produce impactful deliverables and presentations in MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, able to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Advise a broad range of clientele including the government, quasi-government, corporate groups, family business groups and SMEs across various sectors with policy development, strategy development, business planning, feasibility studies, commercial due diligence, market studies, turnaround, M&A support, reorganization and other consulting requirements
- Working within cross-functional and cross-border teams, provide well-thought-out and creative solutions to client challenges through well-structured analyses built upon robust analytical frameworks including KPMG’s established methodologies
- Lead assigned work streams, managing time and resources and produce client-ready deliverables, assuming independent responsibility for smaller engagements
- Be closely involved in client communications and help foster long term relationships
- Help prepare and present proposals and pitching documents and design the scope of work for prospective engagements
- Assist in publishing original industry thought leadership on emerging issues of importance
