Job Summary
The main role of the Senior Sales Engineer is to ensure proper acquisition of sales opportunities and meeting financial targets. To be a Team Leader takes responsibility for promoting and achieving team target.
Key responsibilities
- Prepares the monthly sales forecast according to the Service Requirements and presents it to management
- Work towards achieving the SIP target (Sales, GM, Booking, and DSO)
- Prepare and executes customer visit schedules on weekly basis.
- Interact with customers to increase sales, increase market share, increase product awareness, and educate customers.
- Attends weekly/monthly meetings for sales review, ageing and collection
- Prepares costing sheet and quotation for approval, and submittal to customer.
- Prepares required technical report (compressor inspection report, maintenance report and unit inspection report) with the technical team and delivers to customers
- Contacts customers to explain and discuss quotations. Prepares detailed technical proposal. Discuss Technical compliance report with the concerned Supervisor
- Reviews contracts and reaches agreement with customers. Prepares booking form and enters approval acknowledgement in the system
- Prepares all quotations in SAP CRM and records on the revenue tracker. Keeps hard copy of the quotations in general quotation file
- Reviews monthly online backlog report, and updates promise date in SAP.
- Enters monthly forecast to CRM and updates daily sales report and LE
- Will take responsibility to analyse and fix any process problem.
- Will generate market & new sales business to improve department financial target
- To be role model to all subordinates about business performance and personal attitude
Qualifications
- University Graduate (Mechanical Engineering is preferable)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Communication skills
- Customer focus orientated
- Analytical thinking skills
- Computer soft skills.
