OFFICER – HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (HIM)

Job Description

• Responsible for maintaining Primary Healthcare Centre's patients’ files and information.
• Ensure security, confidentiality and accuracy of the medical records and patients information.
• Review patient’s records for completeness, accuracy, and
  track patients’ files throughout the medical centers.
• Liaise with other medical, dental and nursing services.
• Responsible in the timely delivery of medical records to the medical clinics.

Skills

Educational Skill Attributes

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Medical Documentation, or Health Information Management or Medical Records or related
  field.

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or related field.
• Working knowledge of the principles of medical record science and coding system.
• Experience in using classification software.
