System Administrator

• Core Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, configuration and maintenance of all servers and the administration process efficiently and with high reliability.

• Manage the activities of the System Administration tasks and provide regular update reports to the Head Unit/Department.

• Support and ensure the mission critical systems are operational 24x7.

• Establish policies, procedures and documentation pertaining to the management, security, maintenance usage, problem detection/resolution, for all systems under the System Admin responsibilities.

• Manage systems performance, identify root causes and ensure the implementation of solutions, patches and upgrades on regular basis for all operating systems.

• Ensure all systems backups are taken for all servers in the bank, both in production and development as per the backup policy and ensure backup integrity.

• Assist IT Help Desk Section and provide full support to solve user’s problems.
