Safety & Security Applications Engineer Role Summary Install, configure, test, maintain and operate safety & security application software and system management tools. Must have expert knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection Systems and must be skilled in technical design, planning, implementation and technical operations job Description '• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. for the CCTV, Access Control (ACS) and Intruder Detection Systems (IDS) that are running on Milestone Video Management Software (VMS) and Honeywell EBI products suite respectively • Configure and Maintain Windows Servers & database servers such as MS SQL, Oracle, etc. • Configure Cameras via the Milestone Video Management Software • Configure and troubleshoot ACS Controllers via the software • Network configuration and management related to Camera & Access Control installation and commissioning • Setup, configure and troubleshoot 2D maps for the security management systems • Configure and perform backup and export operations for all the security systems. Recover and restore files and video recordings from backup for the Milestone VMS solution. • Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to cameras, controllers, integration of hardware with the Security and Access Control Systems. Provide Report to team for bug fixes / change requests. • Strong background in the engineering and construction process from Material Approvals, Inspections and Testing and Commissioning procedures • Prepare Project Design, Engineering documents, drawings etc. in compliance with industry standards • Conduct User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders • Perform End User training for Video Management Software, Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems • Coordinate with the various internal and stakeholders like the Facilities Management, ICT, National security agencies in the commissioning of the Security and Access Control systems. • Conduct impacts analysis and highlight risks and issues on solution that impact current solution • Provide Level II technical support for the aforementioned security applications.
