الوصف الوظيفي
- Reporting to the I.T. Telecom Engineer, ensure all tasks allocated are carried out safely and efficiently
- Ensure all telecommunications equipment that are within the contractual scope of the project are maintained to a high standard
- Provide I.T. support to project team member’s computers and ancillary equipment and carry out maintenance on all I.T. equipment that are within the contractual scope. Ensuring all I.T. equipment functions to design
- Testing of fibre optic cables and associated systems
- Maintain portable radio equipment and base stations
- Maintain control room display monitors and links to and from - plus all I.T. servers
- Upgrade equipment and systems as recommended by supplier and vendors
- Assist in the review of holdings of materials, spares and special tools and recommend stock levels and purchases where deficiencies/shortages are found
- Be familiar with non-intrusive Fiscal Metering systems
- Experienced in the review of Single Line Diagrams and P & ID’s
- Be familiar with the CMMS (Marsoft)
- Assist in the review of maintenance routines and make recommendations on improving the system as it applies to your discipline
- Produce reports as required on discipline issues
- Prepare maintenance procedures and work instructions for your discipline as directed by I.T. Telecom Engineer
- Be familiar with all major vendors and liaise on technical matters and queries
- Provide clarity on telecoms/I.T. issues for root cause analysis studies
- Provide input to the project weekly and monthly reports
- To be fully conversant with the technical documentation available from E & C contractor
- Answer technical queries and guide team on matters related to your discipline
- Monitor equipment performance within your discipline and advise on improvement
- Be conversant with project delivery imperatives and support attainment
- Partake in, or cooperate with; internal or external audits as directed
- Attend weekly maintenance team meeting and raise any issues relating to your discipline for further action
- Carry out HSE and technical audits and inspections as directed by Maintenance Superintendent
- Compile or receive detailed written Handover prior to; and completion of leave and/or field breaks
- Report HSE incidents and all near misses, assist on incident investigation as directed
- Have a full awareness of the Company Code of Conduct, disciplinary procedures and Business Ethics
- Complete an offshore survival course
- Support local national training as directed.
