General Accountant

Job Description

• Supervise all regular accounting processes such Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
• Journal entries and non-salary transfers
• Monthly and year-end closings
• Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.
• Preparation of financial status reports for government agencies
• Manage and maintain finance related programs and documents inclusive of future plans and programs
• Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements.
• Applying all Accounting functions for a specific site.
• Review sub-contractors’ certificates with their contracts.
• Handling day to day accounts transactions.
• Verification of bills receivables & payable.
• Handling petty cash maintenance.
• Handling supplier bill payments.
• Communicate and report to accounting supervisor for all actions taken.
• Prepare and submits weekly progress reports.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in Accounting ( 4 years constructionIS MUST )
• Advanced Excel, word and PowerPoint skills
• ERP system user preferred Double click
