Senior Engineer BHS (Baggage Handling System)

About the role:-

As a Senior Engineer BHS, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

• Being the subject matter expert in BHS, responsible for ensuring appropriate technical maintenance, enhancement, optimization, and project activities related to BHS.
• Being accountable to provide leadership and guidance to the O&M contractors, BHS technical team and BHS project teams in order to ensure the required system performance and availability.
• Being an expert in the BHS and the baggage handling operations, ensure that the facilities, systems and services required for baggage handling related operations are properly maintained, enhanced and optimized to achieve business objectives including capacity, performance, availability and operating cost.
• Providing expert advice and support to the BH operations teams, BH project teams, contractors, suppliers other airport departments, authorities, airlines and ground handlers and other relevant stakeholders to find the best balance between operational and maintenance/ projects requirements.
• Acting as the BHS and Baggage Handling Operations Subject Matter Expert in all related projects including, but not limited to, the Airport Expansion Projects, infrastructure upgrade/modification projects, operations enhancement/optimization projects, special events and commercial projects, as well as asset/quality/environmental/safety/security/emergency/business continuity management systems projects.
• Monitoring and controlling the BHS O&M Contractor’s service levels and spare parts usage ensuring compliance to the business objectives and contractual requirements.
