Unit Load Device (ULD) Administrator

About the role:
As a Unit Load Device (ULD) Administrator you will be responsible for providing accurate inventory via system and manual means, and communicating with customer airlines to control their ULD stock allocated in DOH. Whilst leading a team in QAS Cargo ULD section, to meet the demand of internal departments i.e. ramp, baggage and cargo. Also you will facilitate pre-positioning of planned empty units from storage facilities, to respective flights, to meet network requirements in close partnership with Load Control and Airlines.

• Monitor ULD usage, storage facilities and determine appropriate stock in hand Using SCM
• Notify QR and other carriers in case of damaged ULD
• Coordinate with concerned airline to plan damaged units for repairs or sending back to Origin
• Ensure appropriate and serviceable equipment is allocated for transportation as per customer airline requirement
• Ensure ULD storage facilities are monitored and used in safe a manner, report technical fault for immediate rectifications
• Communicate and report to assigned load control / CLC office in case planned empty units are not sufficient
• Interacts with loaders, drivers, LTS, supervisors, dispatchers, cargo and baggage team
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly handling reports to line manager
• Ensure all ULD staff are adhering to Safety and security procedures
• Ensure the department/section KPIs is met
