الوصف الوظيفي
- Plan and perform wellengineering activities at office level and provide engineering support tofield level operations
- Cost / Risk analysis and AFEpreparation for drilling operations
- Preparation of engineeringdesign and operational plans for drilling of wells in area ofresponsibility including well planning, casing design, material andequipment selection, log evaluation, quality assurance and post-jobevaluation
- Define rig selection criteriaand requirements
- Monitor and apply current bestpractices and technological advancements to all operations
- Participate in peer reviews,peer assists and other quality assurance activities related to drillingengineering
- Participate in team meetingsand strategy discussions
- Monitor daily progress ofjob(s) or project(s)
- Ensure that actual well costsand other pre-defined KPIs are monitored and benchmarked against offsetdata and pre-defined well objectives
- Conduct post well evaluationsof drilling practices and effectiveness
- Communicate effectively withwell site/project Drilling Engineers on a daily and as needed basis, andmake recommendations to engineers to optimize drilling performance
- Comply with COMPANY HSEpolicies and guidelines as per IWS Management System. Contribute toimproved HSE standards by setting example by safe work practices
- Participate in implementationof QA procedures as per IWS Management System and contractual requirements
- Conduct business according toour Code of Conduct and Core Values
- Well site engineering supportmay be required at times
- Participate in tender bidpreparation process as needed for drilling & well engineering input.This might include travel to other office locations
- Participate in and conductcustomer presentations & meetings, as needed, including travel toother office locations
- Handle special projects, asassigned
- Keep abreast of technologicaland engineering process advancements through affiliation with professionalsocieties and participation in networks, workshops, seminars and trainingcourses.
