Repo Trader - Governments and Cash

Job Description

The role will have the following responsibilities:

• Management of G7 government bonds repo/reverse-repo book
• Execute repo and reverse-repo transactions and manage dealer relationships
• Manage haircut and collateral balances with dealers
• Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders (portfolio managers, treasury and operations) to match the liquidity needs with the repo/ reverse repo activity

The Successful Applicant

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Atleast a bachelor's degree at an international university
• Strong prerference for a master's degree/MBA/CFA
• At least 7 years relevant repo/funding desk experience, preferably at a bulge bracket bank
• Strong finance, economic, business, and math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities
• Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial and evolving environment
