Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Events & Workplace Specialist to join our People & Culture Team in Bahrain leading efforts to maintain and elevate Calos work environment. This role will focus specifically on enhancing the experience of the office. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating positive experiences has an interest in project management and thrives under pressure with a creative flair. A strong sense of humor and meme literacy is a plus!
Main Responsibilities
Office Management
- Oversee overall office operations including maintenance merch supply management and equipment purchasing
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with service providers
- Track and maintain office assets ensuring employees received equipment within allocated budgets
- Monitor and manage office budgets providing accurate and timely reporting
- Coordinate office layout ensuring that the office is clean and a good representation of Calo brand and values
Employee Experience
- Lead employee engagement initiatives including social events birthdays popups and celebrations
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires and provide general support to visitors
- Design and manage merch for Calo employees
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
- Collaborate with the People Partner team on various initiatives and special projects
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration HR or any related field
- Fresh graduates or 1 year of experience is
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
