الوصف الوظيفي
- Responsible for donor workup process including in-depth medical evaluation of clinical course, hemodilution, medical records including past medical history, preliminary information provided by referral source, behavioral risk information, investigator narratives, works closely with organ team to assess tissue eligibility for combined cases; based on FDA, AATB, & Processor criteria. Obtains release of jurisdiction from the medical examiner or coroner when applicable.
- Responsible for Facilitating Donation conversations with donor families and providing all relevant donation options and information necessary to ensure informed donation decision. Speaks with grieving families on the phone or in-person providing support and assistance through the donation conversation. Responsible for completing the Donor Risk Assessment, including identifying a valid historian and identifying contradictions for donation as applicable.
