Job Dimensions:
Ruya Batch 1 Project involves several EPCIC projects to be executed in parallel over a 6year period with a CAPEX investment of around 6 Billion USD.
The Ruya Batch 1 Project includes:
- New Wellhead Platforms (WHP)
- New Riser Platform (RP)
- New Central Processing Platform (CPP)
- New pipelines
- Brownfield modifications
Activities:
HSE Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with HSE instructions rules and procedures as per contractual clauses and agreements with contractors.
- Address any HSE concerns coordinate with the HSE team and report incidents or accidents immediately to the Mechanical Package Superintendent and HSE team.
Equipment Installation Supervision:
- Monitor installation of equipment (both static and rotating) such as machinery assemblies baseplate leveling machinery alignment and pipetomachinery nozzle connections following API686 recommended practices.
- Consider lessons learned from previous projects for the CPP Topside Project.
- Provide technical assistance and coordination as per the project requirements related to mechanical discipline.
- Support the Mechanical Package Superintendent in ensuring contractors are familiar with company projectrelated standards and procedures.
Productivity & Relationship Management:
- Identify and analyze productivity issues and propose corrective actions.
- Maintain good relationships with contractors balancing flexibility with the strict enforcement of project objectives.
- Keep the Mechanical Package Superintendent informed of events that could affect project goals.
Interface & Coordination:
- Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress.
- Liaise with the PreCom/ICAPS team to perform witness and monitor precommissioning activities.
- Coordinate with Structure and Piping supervisors to manage coactivities and technical interfaces.
- Ensure environmental protection and monitor project environmental performance.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor project progress and compile necessary reports (daily/weekly/monthly) related to mechanical activities.
- Act on behalf of the Mechanical Package Superintendent in their absence.
- Supervise interfaces and ensure alignment of company/project standards and procedures between contractors subcontractors vendor representatives and construction site personnel.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work during weekends and/or night shifts when required by management to support critical activities.
- Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Qualification: Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience in construction precommissioning and quality inspection particularly for topside projects.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Korean construction yards.
- Knowledge of preservation practices rotating machinery installation associated risks and mitigation measures.
- Familiarity with Oil and Gas Industry Standards and international codes/standards related to rotating machinery and associated components.
- Ability to work in a complex multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in computer programs for word processing database management spreadsheets and email communications. Familiarity with PRODOM/MANASA is a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Certifications: H2S OPITO and TBOSIET trainings.
