Our client is a leading educational institution in Bahrain certified by the British Columbia Ministry of Education as the first BC offshore school in the country. Established in 2019 the school offers a modern highstandard curriculum based on the British Columbia Canada framework. With a strong focus on academic excellence it seamlessly integrates Bahrain Social Studies Islamic Studies and the Arabic Language into its programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Implement and model the School Mission & Values
- Work together with the Principal to provide effective leadership to the school
- Implement Strategic Plan and foster School Goals and objectives
- Understand and Implement the School Policies and practical applications
- Classroom teaching when needed
- New Teacher Orientation
- Teacher Development and Evaluation
- Focus on Student Achievement
- Prepare all the requested reports for the Principal
- Assist the principal in Working with Support Staff
- Assist in student recruitment
- Focus on effective Parent Communication
- Any additional tasks as requested by the Principal
- Provide leadership to grade leaders
- Ensure facility compliance
- School Safety
- Attend all relevant meetings
- Ensure effective teacher planning in compliance with BC curriculum
Requirements
- Master degree in Education or any other related field or two related postsecondary degrees
- Teaching certificate
- Minimum three years of School Administration experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in education including three in a BC school. Minimum three years as Principal Vice Principal or administrative leader in a BC school
