A highend restaurant located in Doha Qatar renowned for its fine dining experience and exceptional service offering a unique blend of French and Arabic cuisine is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join their exceptional culinary team. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen ensuring the efficient preparation and delivery of highquality dishes that meet the restaurant s prestigious standards. This role requires strong culinary skills leadership abilities and a passion for fine dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g. pastry grill saut etc.) ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff providing training and support to ensure smooth operations and highquality results.
- Ensure the consistent and timely preparation of food maintaining the restaurant s standards of taste texture and presentation.
- Assist in menu planning and the creation of new dishes contributing to the culinary innovation of the restaurant.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness organization and hygiene standards in your designated kitchen section.
- Assist in the management of food inventory ordering and stock control ensuring minimal wastage and costeffective usage.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination and communication during service.
- Maintain a high level of efficiency during service ensuring dishes are delivered to guests promptly and to the highest standard.
- Ensure proper handling storage and labeling of food items to comply with food safety regulations.
- Take responsibility for the quality of dishes leaving your section and address any issues that arise promptly.
- Help with special events private functions or seasonal menu changes as required.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Hospitality or Diploma.
Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a highend or fine dining restaurant.
Formal culinary training from a recognized institution or equivalent work experience.
Expertise in preparing dishes from a specific cuisine or kitchen section.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best kitchen practices.
Exceptional culinary skills with the ability to create prepare and present dishes with precision and creativity.
Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced highvolume kitchen environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Positive attitude attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
