Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in Riyadh Saudi Arabia our client anenergy solutions provider established in 2023 leverages over 20 years of industry expertise to deliver sustainable and efficient energy solutions in Saudi Arabia. They specialize in EPC services for HDPE and steel infrastructure networks as well as alternative energy solutions like CNG SNG and LPG for backup and offgrid power. With a strong focus on reliability and sustainability they support industrial and commercial sectors with comprehensive operation and maintenance services.
Job Title:Senior Safety Engineer
Scope:We are seeking an experienced SeniorSafety Engineerto lead and manage health safety and environmental (HSE) programs within our Oil & Gas operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and ensuring compliance with safety policies regulatory requirements and best practices to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Responsibilities:
Safety Policy & Compliance:
- Develop implement and update HSE policies and procedures in line with local and international safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA API ISO NFPA and other industry safety standards.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and manage external safety audits.
Risk Management & Incident Prevention:
- Conduct risk assessments safety audits and site inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and recommend improvements.
Training & Awareness:
- Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Organize emergency response drills and ensure preparedness for crisis situations.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Environmental Protection & Compliance:
- Oversee environmental protection measures including waste management and spill response.
- Ensure compliance with environmental safety regulations and sustainability initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering operations and site teams to integrate safety protocols into daily operations.
- Provide guidance to leadership on safety strategies risk mitigation and best practices.
Key Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or a related field.
- 810 years of experience in safety management within the Oil & Gas industry.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA API ISO NFPA and HSE best practices.
- Experience in risk assessments incident investigation and safety audits.
- Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in highrisk environments and make quick effective decisions.
