JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create manage and update 3D models of construction projects using BIM software.
- Ensure that all project information including design and engineering details is accurately represented in the BIM model
- Integrate timebased scheduling data into the BIM model to create 4D simulations (timebased visualizations).
- Develop and maintain construction schedules using BIM tools to visualize construction progress and detect potential schedule conflicts.
- Collaborate with project managers contractors and stakeholders to update project schedules as needed.
- Generate 4D simulations for construction sequences and project milestones to support planning and decisionmaking.
- Integrate cost data (materials labor equipment) into the BIM model to enable 5D cost estimation and tracking.
- Work with quantity surveyors and cost managers to generate accurate cost estimates based on the BIM model.
- Update and monitor project budgets and costs through 5D integration ensuring accuracy and realtime cost tracking.
- Generate cost reports and provide support for value engineering and cost optimization during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with architects engineers contractors and other stakeholders to align BIM 4D and 5D data with project requirements.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and assist teams in resolving any issues related to scheduling and budgeting.
- Provide training and support for team members in using 4D and 5D BIM tools.
- Ensure that all BIM data is accurate uptodate and complies with project standards and requirements.
- Perform quality checks on the integrated 4D and 5D data to ensure consistency and accuracy in scheduling and cost estimation.
- Prepare reports and presentations that visualize project timelines cost estimates and progress for stakeholders.
- Document changes in the schedule or budget and track any impacts on the overall project timeline or cost.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in BIM technologies and methodologies.
- Recommend and implement improvements in BIM processes tools and techniques for better 4D/5D integration.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Additional certifications in BIM Project Management or related areas are a plus:
- Proven experience in BIM particularly with 4D and 5D integration.
- Experience using BIM software such as Revit Navisworks Bentley systems or similar.
- Experience with project management and cost estimation software (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project CostX or similar).
- Experience in construction planning scheduling or cost management is highly desirable:
- Strong knowledge of 4D scheduling and 5D cost management integration.
- Proficiency in BIM modeling tools (e.g. Revit Navisworks Dynamo).Ability to create and analyze 4D and 5D simulations and reports.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certifications (desirable):BIMrelated certifications (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional BIM Manager)
