AtkinsRealis is seeking a highly skilled Project Design Manager with experience in overseeing design processes for airport projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that the design aspects of our projects are executed to the highest standards. The responsibilities of this position include:
Leadership in Design: Plan organize and direct the design activities across the entire program serving as the principal design authority in the Design or Technical Department. Provide quality oversight enforce policies and procedures and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Design Management: Oversee and coordinate the projects design process ensuring that all plans meet functional program requirements budget constraints environmental considerations and legal standards.
Project Coordination: Manage multiple design projects within the program collaborating with architects engineers and specialist consultants from project initiation to completion.
Standards Compliance: Supervise the design process to ensure adherence to QCS GSAS and client standards. Work closely with design professionals and stakeholders to maintain compliance.
Guidance and Direction: Provide clear and consistent direction to architects and engineers regarding project goals standards site specifics schedules and budgets.
Design Review: Implement an efficient design review process to ensure that designs align with project goals maximize value and meet the functional needs of the client local authorities and environmental requirements.
Timely DecisionMaking: Ensure that all project decisions are made promptly and that project documentation adheres to established standards.
Budget Management: Review and assess design changes to ensure that the project remains within budget.
Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
