- Take the necessary measures to protect the hotel and defend it against fires and natural disasters and train the employees in this area.
- Consult and inform the chief engineer for all issues deemed necessary.

- Develop and maintain hygiene programs within Rixos procedures international standards and laws.
- Inspect and evaluate weekly workplace environments equipment and practices in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Inspect daily specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment safety equipment and firstaid supplies.
- Investigate accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
- Investigate healthrelated complaints and inspect facilities to ensure that they comply with public health legislation and regulations.
- Investigate the adequacy of ventilation exhaust equipment lighting and other conditions that could affect employee health comfort or performance.
- Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures.
- Maintain inventories of hazardous materials and hazardous wastes using waste tracking systems to ensure that materials are handled properly.
- Order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers health and safety.
- Prepare hazardous radioactive and mixed waste samples for transportation and storage by treating compacting packaging and labeling them.
- Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods processes or materials.
- Helping the Human Resources Department with governmental issues of certificates or any other needed licensing.
- Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facility.
- To predict that all activities and to purchase all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment to join all activities which are organized to protect biological diversity and share the responsibilities shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary training.
- To provide minimum consumption of currently used all stuff and equipment (paper printed out etc.).
- To implement necessary warnings and departmental training in order to save energy inside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy. To predict the effects of the environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.
- To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste properly reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment and lead to staff.

Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree or at least a vocational diploma.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Foreign Language: Intermediatelevel English.
- Courses and Training: Requires sufficient theoretical and practical background and attendance in courses and seminars in the related field
Must meet the training requirements for general safety as per the domestic work laws.
- Computer Literacy: MS Office applications.
- Skills: Requires good command and monitoring of safety developments and practices. Expected to offer consulting to other employees when needed. Expected to acquire through technical training the expertise and longterm experience concerning methods advanced techniques special equipment and work processes in the related field.
