As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will work alongside senior engineers to help build maintain and improve the tools and infrastructure that support our platform. You will assist in the following tasks:
- Support the creation maintenance and improvement of CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
- Assist in the management and monitoring of platform health uptime and performance.
- Help build and automate infrastructure using containers (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes ECS).
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Contribute to infrastructure documentation and best practices.
- Assist in implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Help manage deployment processes and automate testing for unit integration and endtoend tests.
- Learn about scaling infrastructure and assist with basic implementation strategies.
Qualifications :
- 1 years of experience or strong academic background in DevOps or related field.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker).
- Basic experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes ECS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana).
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools in the DevOps space.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced Agile environment.
- Good communication skills and willingness to receive guidance from senior team members.
Additional Information :
- Experience with InfrastructureasCode tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).
- Exposure to serverless technologies (e.g. AWS Lambda).
- Familiarity with security practices including PCI compliance.
