- Conduct field sampling for various environments including groundwater wastewater seawater soil source emissions fugitive emissions ambient air and indoor air quality.
- Adhere to environmental and safety regulations during all field operations
- Identify and assess the presence of asbestoscontaining materials (ACMs).
- Evaluate the condition of ACMs and determine associated risks.
- Operate laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers chromatographs and titration equipment to analyze chemical properties and compositions.
- Develop nonstandard chemical tests to address specific project needs.
- Conduct physical and chemical tests measuring properties such as pH density viscosity and solubility.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with lab equipment to minimize downtime.
- Accurately record and document experimental results ensuring consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze data interpret chemical test results and draw informed conclusions.
- Prepare detailed reports of findings including statistical analyses and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications :
- A bachelors/ masters degree in chemistry (masters degree will be given preference)
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Environmental Monitoring & Laboratory Testing.
Additional Information :
Received training in asbestos management surveying (BOHS recognized Training Provider) or preference will be given to a candidate having BOHS P402 Certificate.
