Job Summary:
As a Business Development Engineer you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities establishing and maintaining client relationships and contributing to the companys growth and profitability. Your primary focus will be on generating new leads developing strategic partnerships and expanding the companys presence in the construction industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients market trends and competitors.
- Analyze data and industry reports to develop insights and identify business opportunities.
- Monitor and stay updated on industry news regulations and emerging technologies.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking referrals and cold calling.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and projects.
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate and close deals ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions and services.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients addressing concerns and resolving issues.
- Foster longterm partnerships and seek opportunities for repeat business.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering project management and finance to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Coordinate with technical experts to provide technical support and expertise to clients.
- Participate in industry events conferences and trade shows to network and promote the companys services.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships joint ventures and acquisitions.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the companys market share and geographic presence.
- Monitor industry trends and identify emerging markets and segments for business growth.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry including different project types market dynamics and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
