We are seeking a skilled Network and Cloud Management Specialist to oversee and enhance our network infrastructure ensuring robust security and efficient management of our Active Directory Sophos firewall and cloud resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within our IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Management:
- Monitor and maintain network performance including LAN WAN and VPN connections.
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to improve connectivity and performance.
- Configure and manage network devices including routers switches and firewalls.
- Active Directory Management:
- Administer Active Directory (AD) services including user account management group policy configuration and security settings.
- Implement and maintain Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) for secure access to applications.
- Monitor and audit AD activities to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Firewall Management:
- Configure and manage Sophos firewall to safeguard network resources from external threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks.
- Develop and implement firewall rules and policies to control network traffic.
- Domain Controller Management:
- Oversee the deployment management and troubleshooting of domain controllers in a multidomain environment.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of domain services including DNS and DHCP.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery exercises for domain controllers.
- Cloud Management:
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services ensuring optimal performance and costefficiency.
- Implement security best practices for cloud resources including identity and access management.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate cloud solutions with onpremises infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in network management Active Directory firewall management (preferably Sophos) and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPN technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Sophos Certified Engineer) are a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
High school diploma required; Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Proven experience in real estate sales or a related field is highly desirable. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs. Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
