Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with Company Safety Health Environment and Quality policies regulations and standards
- Support Construction HO during tendering at bidding stage with the construction input of execution
- Identify all modulization possibilities for all construction phases of the project
- Develop Construction Deliverables GoBys for all future projects
- Develop Construction Deliverables for project prior to allocation of Construction Manager
- Head up the construction department at KoM s prior to allocation of Construction Manager
- Front the project from a construction perspective until CM is assigned
- Mentor the construction team in execution of site activities
- Coordinate onsite construction activities ensuring seamless integration of subcontractors and managing SIMOPSrelated tasks effectively
- Review comment and approve construction execution plans procedures and deliverables prepared by the team and any subcontractors
- Exhibit leadership and foster a collaborative "work as a team" attitude to achieve project objectives
- Provide visibility and technical guidance during the detailed design and engineering phase to ensure flawless construction execution and smooth transition to commissioning
- Work within a dynamic multilocation team environment demonstrating the capacity to manage workloads multitask and meet high expectations for safety quality cost and schedule
- Participate in critical meetings and workshops such as weekly/monthly progress reviews 3D models reviews constructability and completion sequence reviews
- Influence stakeholders outside direct control to align with project objectives and provide effective support without unnecessary micromanagement
- Bring innovative technical and execution solutions to enhance safe construction execution and commissioning transitions
- Facilitate periodic meetings with the project and construction management team subcontractors to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables
- Handle adhoc requests related to operational and logistics activities as assigned by the Operations Manager
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
Education: Bachelor s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects including GCC experience
Technical Background: Proven expertise as a discipline engineer field engineer construction engineer construction superintendent or construction manager with extensive project execution experience.
Specific Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of all discipline execution from a construction aspect within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in execution sequencing construction path of construction modulization.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational planning and execution skills.
- Proficient in MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and SAP
- Developed coordination and interpersonal communication skills to liaise across all organizational levels effectively
