Responsibilities:
Steel Cutting and Assembly: Accurately measure cut and fit steel components such as beams columns and frames for various construction projects ensuring correct alignment and structural integrity.
Advanced Welding and Joining: Use welding bolting and riveting techniques to securely join steel components ensuring strong reliable connections that meet safety standards.
Steel Installation: Oversee the installation of steel structures onsite including assembling largescale frameworks ensuring alignment leveling and stability during installation.
Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with engineers project managers and other tradespeople ensuring seamless communication and project coordination to meet deadlines and achieve desired results.
Safety Management: Consistently adhere to strict safety protocols conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations to protect yourself and others on the job site.
Requirements
At least 5 years of handson experience in steel fitting fabrication or a related trade demonstrating a strong understanding of steel materials and construction practices
Advanced skills in steel cutting welding and fitting techniques.
Knowledge of various steel grades and welding methods.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials working in confined spaces and being on feet for extended periods.
Capability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
