Mechanical Design Engineer | CAD Engineer - Part-time

About the Job

As part of TopTech Industries growth plan we have an immediate opening for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. He will be responsible for:

• Carrying out the duties of the Engineering department, including design, research, prototyping, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement.
• The successful candidate will report directly to the GM, and collaborate with other teams such as sales to make sure of project timeliness and quality.
• Meet with suppliers, clients and project stakeholders to review designs and alter as needed.
• Produce standard designs using CAD software and create assembly prints, mechanical drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Modify designs to correct operating and production issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design.
• In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software or similar tool.
• Good knowledge about CNC modern machines.
• Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively.
