Looking for the role of General Marketing Sales Executive role in driving the sales and marketing efforts of a company. Their responsibilities typically blend marketing activities with sales goals to enhance brand awareness increase customer acquisition and grow revenue.

The common roles and responsibilities for a General Marketing Sales Executive:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop Sales Plans: Work with the sales and marketing teams to create sales strategies that align with overall company objectives.
  • Set Targets: Establish realistic sales targets and work towards achieving them within specified timelines.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends customer needs and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

2. Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition

  • Lead Generation: Use various marketing channels (digital marketing events email campaigns etc.) to generate leads for the sales team.
  • Prospecting: Reach out to potential customers and businesses through cold calls emails or social media to initiate sales conversations.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain longterm relationships with key clients prospects and partners.

3. Sales Presentations & Negotiations

  • Product Presentations: Present and demonstrate products or services to potential clients tailoring the pitch to meet their needs.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing terms and contracts and work to close deals successfully.
  • Customer Consultation: Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients understanding their pain points and offering relevant solutions.

4. Marketing Campaign Support

  • Collaborate on Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing department to help plan execute and evaluate campaigns that support sales objectives.
  • Content Creation: Assist in the creation of marketing materials (brochures presentations email templates) that align with sales goals.
  • Promotions & Events: Help coordinate promotional events product launches webinars and other initiatives to engage customers and prospects.

5. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • CRM Usage: Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems to track interactions sales progress and customer satisfaction.
  • FollowUps: Regularly follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction resolve issues and identify upsell or crosssell opportunities.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and relay customer feedback to improve products or services and inform marketing strategies.

6. Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales reports tracking performance against targets identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
  • Market Analysis: Assess market conditions and provide insights on how to adjust strategies to meet sales and marketing goals.
  • Campaign Effectiveness: Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide feedback to refine future efforts.

7. Collaboration & CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
  • CrossDepartmental Communication: Regularly communicate with different departments to ensure consistency in messaging and brand positioning.

8. Brand Awareness & Promotion

  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador promoting the companys products or services in a positive light.
  • Social Media Engagement: Participate in social media activities to promote the brand and engage with customers or prospects.
  • Customer Retention: Develop strategies to retain customers and turn them into repeat buyers or brand advocates.

9. Budgeting & Financial Management

  • Budgeting: Assist in managing marketing and sales budgets by ensuring costeffective use of resources for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Cost Control: Ensure that marketing and sales expenditures stay within the budget while still meeting performance goals.

10. Training & Development

  • Sales Training: Participate in or help coordinate training sessions to keep sales skills sharp and uptodate with industry trends.
  • Professional Growth: Continuously learn new marketing and sales strategies tools and techniques to stay competitive in the field.

11. Customer Support & Problem Resolution

  • Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients addressing their questions or concerns related to products or services.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving customer complaints or challenges ensuring positive customer experiences.

Required Skills & Qualities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Goaloriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Creative thinking for problemsolving and marketing campaigns.

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: RO350.000 RO450.000 per month

Education:

  • Bachelors (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 6Years: 3 years (Preferred)
