Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMC ICT Engineer Construction Supervisor Stations to oversee the installation and integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems for stations in a highprofile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra Iraq. The ICT Engineer will ensure all ICT infrastructure including networking telecom systems and SCADA is implemented in compliance with project requirements timelines and safety standards. This role requires technical expertise project management skills and experience in ICT systems within largescale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all ICTrelated construction activities including installation of network infrastructure telecom systems and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications standards and international best practices in ICT implementation.
- Review and approve ICT drawings schematics and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ICT systems with other project components.
- Oversee the installation configuration and testing of ICT hardware and software including routers switches communication systems and SCADA interfaces.
- Monitor progress of ICT installations addressing technical challenges and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Ensure proper handling storage and deployment of ICT equipment and materials.
- Support commissioning and handover activities ensuring operational readiness of ICT systems.
- Promote adherence to HSE policies and ensure compliance with safety standards during all ICTrelated activities.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Telecommunications or a related field.
- Experience:
- 812 years of experience in ICT engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in a PMC environment and ICT system supervision for stations is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure networking telecom systems and SCADA integration.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings specifications and ICT documentation.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for effective coordination with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure highquality standards in a fastpaced environment.
