- Conduct guided tours to various historical cultural and natural sites across Saudi Arabia.
- Provide detailed information about the locations visited including historical facts cultural significance and interesting anecdotes.
- Answer questions and engage with tour participants to enhance their experience and understanding.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all tour participants throughout the tour.
- Assist with logistical arrangements such as transportation and scheduling.
- Stay informed about new attractions events and changes in existing sites to keep tour content uptodate.
- Handle any unexpected situations or emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Promote respect for local customs traditions and the environment.
- Collect feedback from tour participants to improve tour quality continually.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in tourism history or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a tour guide or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian history culture and geography.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly outgoing personality with a passion for working with people.
- Ability to handle physical activity including walking and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver s license.
- Tour guide licenses from MOT (preferred)
Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in tourism, hospitality, management, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the tourism industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Extensive knowledge of Saudi Arabian history, culture, and geography. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proven leadership and team management skills. Customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Valid driver s license and clean driving record (if applicable). Tour guide licenses (Preferred)
