Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Graphic Designer with expertise in production printing to join our team at Rankoussi. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in design software a deep understanding of prepress processes and experience in creating printready files for various production requirements including fabrics furniture and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Layout
- Create highquality designs layouts and artwork for production printing projects including fabrics furniture brochures catalogs banners and other promotional materials.
- Ensure all designs meet the companys brand guidelines and client specifications.
- PrePress Preparation
- Prepare and optimize designs for printing ensuring color accuracy resolution and proper file formats.
- Manage file conversions and ensure compatibility with various printing methods (e.g. digital screen offset).
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the production team to ensure seamless transition from design to final output.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide mockups or proofs for approval.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct quality checks on printed outputs to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design and printing processes.
- Project Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for future reference.
- Innovation and Creativity
- Suggest improvements and innovative ideas for design and production efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends printing technologies and software advancements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Communication or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design with a focus on production printing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign).
- Knowledge of CorelDRAW and other design tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of prepress processes and printing techniques.
- Other Skills:
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of color and composition.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fabric design and patterns is an advantage.
- Familiarity with largeformat printing and textile printing technologies.
- Knowledge of brand identity design and packaging.
Job Types: Fulltime Permanent
Pay: QAR2500.00 QAR4000.00 per month
